What information do we collect, what is the purpose for such collection and how do we use this information? HealthExpedia collects information about our users in two ways: by your voluntary submissions (for instance if you sign up on our website and mobile application/s to become a registered user) and through cookie technology. In addition to this, HealthExpedia may also collect your location information using cell-tower technology.
The information HealthExpedia collects is used in a variety of ways: for internal review to improve the content of the site, thus making your user experience more valuable to notify you of updates, to provide you information you have requested and to let you know about any related products and services. HealthExpedia shall be accessing your location information using cell-tower technology, in order to provide you with better information about healthcare facilities in your proximity and you hereby give your consent for the collection of such location information each time you use our website/app. This information shall be collected irrespective of your GPS/location settings being switched on or off, through the use of cell-tower technology. The intended recipient for the location information so collected is Health Expedia. The location information shall be both collected and stored by Health Expedia. In case, you wish to opt out of providing your location information, you may do so by accessing the Auto Detect Location settings by clicking on Current City (e.g. Bengaluru) on the home screen menu of the Mobile Application. In website, you may choose to deny permission for sharing the location in location notification which will appear when you access the website. Such express opt-out by you shall be deemed to be a notice in writing to Health Expedia. By using our website and/or our mobile application, you consent to the collection and use of the information described in this policy by Health Expedia.
Who is the intended recipient of the information collected and who retains the information? The information is collected for Health Expedia, and shall be retained by Health Expedia. Such information shall only be disclosed by Health Expedia under certain conditions mentioned later in this section.
